I never shy away from new spots to shoot, and I can’t believe I have gone this long without shooting at Mount Bonnell! David proposed to Morgan on top of this very mountain, so when it was suggested as a location I jumped at the opportunity. We had the best of every light once we were at the top. From lightly clouded daylight, through golden hour, and the beauty of the skies as the sun sunk beneath the hill country. Love was definitely in the air- not only were we celebrating a beautiful engagement session with Morgan and David, as we walked around we got to witness a proposal and a wedding! I am so happy I got to spend time with these two. David made Morgan laugh and it was so sweet to see their connection. Also, it never hurts to have a couple who knows how to dance! I’m sure these two can’t wait for their first dance as Mr. & Mrs!
These are adorable! I especially love the silhouette/backlit ones. Beautiful work! 🙂

I love the genuine expressions on their faces! It’s very hard to achieve that with some couples.

Oh yes, here in Texas I am almost shocked now if there are NOT cowboy boots at weddings or engagement sessions! Now I just need to get my own pair 😉
