Stacia & Eric | Love & Rain at Mercury Hall

Right away I started seeing the little details.

Succulent arrangements, name cards on limes with careful calligraphy and twine, and each table looking completely unique yet orchestrated under the white tent.

The more I looked around Mercury Hall, the more I listened to the family as they all spoke up about things like the wedding seal that had been used for the programs, the more I got to know Stacia & Eric.

The venue that I already know and love sprang to life even more with their choice of bright wildflowers.

With that being said… we all knew what the weather forecast was for the day.

Being a wedding photographer in Austin means I am always prepared for the rain to move things around. I have never used it as an excuse not to shoot wedding portraits outside!

Thankfully Mercury Hall is Mercury Hall.

Go scroll down and peek at those stained glass windows!

Right?

They moved flowers indoors to create the ambience from the ceremony aisle that would have been outside.

It was beautiful.

The ceremony allowed family and friends to hear more of the love story that got them all under one roof, and I was happy to be a fly on the wall. (ok, a fly that carries around lighting equipment.. but still.)

I was happy to know they were more than ready to head straight outside after they said I  do. We were able to get out into the greenery at use the gorgeous property as much as possible.

During the reception- the love continued to flood out through every speech and every toast. Just look at their reactions! Guests laughed through memories that the bride and groom had created over their lifetime while getting to see more of the caring heart these two had for everyone around them.

Y’all know I’m always going to try to sneak the couple out for a quick night shot- and this was no exception.

There was no way I would let them leave without getting full use of the enchanting oaks that cover the property. Adding a little dancing was just icing on the cake! (Isn’t their cake gorgeous, too??)

After all the dancing (and there was some great dancing)- the sparkler exit was the perfect way to end the night.

Congrats again to you guys… I hope your life is full of the happiness you shared on your big day!
