Jennifer & Travis | Snowy Breckenridge Engagement

I still can’t believe how wonderful this Colorado engagement shoot worked out to be.

Inserting the thought of snowflake and heart eye emojis here.

Travis and Jennifer made it to Breckenridge from where they live in Boulder in perfect time for some light snow. Things went great for this engagement session… maybe minus the car get stuck in snow within minutes of getting to the location.

Ok, I *might* have jinxed it by asking if they needed chains on their tires for all the Colorado snow. We were pulled off the side of Swan Mountain and no sooner did Travis answer that they didn’t really need it… the tires started spinning.

Oops.

We were so lucky to have kind strangers show up to save us less than a minute after getting stuck. Way to go, Coloradans!

They hooked up their truck and pulled us right out, easy peasy. Now on to shooting some photos.

I am so proud of these two. Not only did they not mind standing in the snow… they didn’t mind throwing their jackets off either! You could really tell how comfortable these two were around each other. They were naturals. We even ended with a snow ball fight that *almost* caused this groom to be to get frostbite.

All in all we had an amazing time and I can’t even wait to shoot their Austin wedding next month!

Headed back to Colorado to shoot another wedding in Spring of 2019 in case anyone wants to book a snowy engagement session now…

let’s make some more magic out there.

Location: Swan Mountain, Colorado

  2. this is a beautiful winter engagement. You would never know you guys had any car trouble with the Colorado snow. They look way to happy and lost in each others smiles to tell. Its always great to see a beautiful snowy session, even in what I hope will stay springtime!

    • Thank you! Winter engagement photography is so special, I was honored to shoot this engagement session in Colorado! Texas weddings are never in snow *(at least here in Austin!) so it was a welcome change 🙂

    • I appreciate that! I loved how relaxed they were during their engagement photos in the snow. It’s not an easy task to look that great while it’s so cold! They rocked it and I am so happy you think I did too 🙂 Can’t wait to shoot their Texas wedding!
